Please join us in helping people with disabilities achieve their goals.  By completing your gift to CPARC today, you can help us make a difference in someone’s life.
All contributions to The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties' (CPARC's) Annual Appeal directly support people with disabilities who need the help of a CPARC Advocate. This service is free to those in need.

Services to people with disabilities have included:
• Obtaining proper medical care for individuals
• Finding an emergency guardian
• Acting as a representative payee
• Resolving a landlord issue
• Relocating an individual from an abusive situation
• Tutoring an individual to help him pass the driver’s license exam

HOW YOUR CONTRIBUTION HELPS:
• People with developmental disabilities receive the services they require to live and work in their community.

• Parents and families learn how to be self-sufficient in advocating for their family member.

• Parents learn how to participate in developing their child’s educational program.

• Advocates host educational training seminars for parents of special needs children.

• Past topics have included: Special Needs Estate Planning, Medicare Part D, and Guardianship.

• Families and the general public receive education about prevention of developmental disabilities.

• Staff advocate for specific policies and programs that will benefit people with developmental disabilities.
