| 1. RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM ADVISOR |
Program Advisors provide direct service to, and supervision of the individuals living in the assigned group home or apartment program. This involves teaching daily living skills (such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.) and helping the individuals to be as active in their community as possible. At some locations personal care assistance (toileting, bathing, etc.) may be required. This position requires mostly evening and weekend hours. Full and part-time positions are available in various locations including Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, and New Cumberland.
Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Possess a High School Diploma or GED
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license |
| 2. RESIDENTIAL ATTENDANT |
Attendants provide sleep-time supervision of the individuals living at the assigned group home or apartment program. Attendants may utilize this time to sleep, study, etc. but must remain on the premises in case of an emergency. We have full and part-time positions in various locations including Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and New Cumberland.
Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Possess a High School Diploma or GED,
* Be at least 18 years of age, and
* Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

SUBSTITUTES |
Substitutes fill the
position of Teachers Aide on an as-needed
basis. They provide direct care to
children using the plans and methods of the
Group Supervisor. They assist in preparing
activities and maintain the health and
safety of the children.
Substitutes are being hired at the Early
Education Centers in Duncannon,
Shermans Dale and also at the before and
after school program in Shermans Dale.
Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Possess a High School Diploma or GED,
or minimum 8th grade education and two years
of experience relating to the care and
development of children, or the Child
Development Credential (refer to DPW 3270
Regulations).
* Must
be physically able to provide care for the
assigned group of children (i.e. lifting
infants, stooping with toddlers, etc.).
