The Mission of Life Time Adult Day Care is to provide compassionate care and support to our clients and their caregivers.  As a result of this care, Life Time participants can remain in their own communities and families may stay together. Each day's program is designed to help the participants overcome the isolation and inactivity resulting from declining physical or mental health.  At the same time, due to this vital service, caregivers are afforded the time to carry on with the responsibilities of their daily lives. Work, rest and recovery can be accomplished through using this vital service.

For over 35 years, Life Time Adult Day Care has provided compassionate care and support to our clients and their caregivers.  Life Time’s experienced and professional staff design each day’s activities to be interactive and fun for the participants.  Caregivers can be confident that their loved ones are safe and happy while in our care.

Life Time staff provide individualized care to older adults with physical and psychological needs.  Medical concerns, dementia, social isolation, inactivity and risk of falling are some of the reasons an older person might need our care and supervision.  Many Life Time clients and their caregivers express that it is simply comforting to know that they are not alone.

Life Time Adult Day Care is dually licensed by the PA Department of Aging and the Department of Public Welfare. The dual license allows us to meet the needs and serve adults age 18 and older with functional, physical, social, or cognitive impairments including, but not limited to, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Stoke, brain injury, and developmental disabilities. The program primary focuses on the needs of folks age 50 or over.

Life Time participants and their caregivers benefit from this rich program of daily care, including:

• Friendship and Fun
• Therapeutic Activities
Daily Exercise
Safe Environment
Nursing Care
Nutritious meals and snacks
Games, Arts and Crafts
Music, Singing and Dancing

Life Time Testimonials

"Life Time Adult Day Care is a great place to send loved ones that may be aging and need some support throughout the day. They have friendly staff who are willing to go above and beyond to support the aging and intellectual disabilities populations. The folks that I know who go there always talk about how much they enjoy socializing with their friends and all of the activities going on from day to day, such as group discussions/games, crafts, exercising, and special visitors like the service dogs. This program provides great opportunities for socializing as well as having structure through the day to keep older adults active, both physical and mentally."
Danielle, Supports Coordinator

"Life Time has given me peace of mind, knowing that Barbara is in a program where there are friendly and caring individuals who do so much not only for Barbara but all their clients. Life Time staff are patient and understanding and I consider myself very fortunate to have my sister spend her weekdays here."
Nancy, sister attends

"There are few things that make Life Time unique and special. Life Time's most outstanding attribute is making Noreen feel wanted and loved. When I drop her off in the morning she responds to the staff greeter with a broad, happy smile."
Ernie, wife attends

"Thank you and your associates for the care and loving concern you showed my Aunt during her battle with Alzheimer's. I truly appreciate you treating her with the compassion, dignity, and respect she deserved."
