MAKE A DIFFERENCE ONE STEP AT A TIME
YOUR WALKING SHOES READY!
are recruiting walkers for the 2014 Highmark
Walk for a Healthy Community. It will
be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at HACC's
Harrisburg campus. This year's walk will
benefit 40 local health and human service
organizations in Central Pennsylvania.
Highmark Blue Shield
underwrites the cost of the walk so that 100
percent of the money raised by walkers goes
directly to the participating organizations.
Last year 103 CPARC walkers enjoyed
great company as they strolled through HACC's campus. Their outstanding efforts raised over $7,500 for the following CPARC programs and services: Advocacy, Early Education Center of Perry County, Family Education, Life Time Adult Day Care, S. Wilson Pollock Center for Industrial Training, and Residential Services.
We hope you will join us and help reach our
goal of $10,000!
